Development Team

Heather Jones

Hi – I’m Heather Jones & I am a Co-Chair for the Women In Law Development Team. I was born and raised in DFW and am specifically from Frisco, TX. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in May of 2022 and came straight to law school that fall. During my 1L summer, I split my summer between two family law firms – Balekian Hayes, PLLC and Grinke Stewart Law PLLC. My internship with Grinke Stewart Law PLLC was extended through the fall, so I am still actively interning there. I have loved my time at SMU so far and am thankful for all of the opportunities to be involved, explore the Dallas area, and network with wonderful professors, staff, and attorneys. When I am not studying, I am either running, hanging out with my puppy, or trying new restaurants in the area.
