We want you to be aware of an exciting opportunity for students to engage in research at MIT as part of our summer 2018 Amgen Scholars Program. Undergraduates will participate in faculty-mentored summer research at MIT in the science and biotechnology areas. Students admitted to this program will conduct full-time research, attend seminars and workshops, present their research, network with other undergraduates with similar research interests, and attend a mid-summer symposium at UCLA.
Twenty undergraduates, 15 visiting students and 5 MIT students, will be admitted to the program. Participants will be paid $4,500 for the summer, receive on-campus housing, a food allowance, and visiting Scholars will be provided travel to/from Boston.
Attached is a flyer about the program.
More information can also be found here.
We hope you will share this opportunity with your students and we look forward to receiving their application!
