Stan Crow
- Moderator in one of the Sun & Star Symposium panels
- Participated in the Meridian Global Dialogue: Advancing Space Cooperation through the Artemis Accords at the Embassy of Canada.
- Participated in the U.N. Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space in Vienna as a delegate of the World Space Week Association

Daniel Orlovsky co-authored and published a book called The Russian Revolution of 1917 – Memory and Legacy.
Rita Kirk was appointed Visiting Fellow at Harvard University 2023-2024. This allowed her to continue her current research on our declining institutional trust, including that created by the use and misuse of artificial intelligence. The mission of her research is to empower individuals and organizations to navigate the intricacies of ethics and trust in today’s dynamic political climate.
Carrie Currier won TCU’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award in 2024 as well as TCU’s Race and Reconciliation Initiative. Below are the list of her latest publications and appearances:

Laiyee Leong
- In January, she received the Provost’s Teaching Recognition Award from President Turner. The award, which comes with a stipend, is given to two teaching/professional faculty each year for “commitment to excellence and a consummate dedication to teaching and learning.”
- She co-convened the 2nd Annual AAPI Voices in Higher Education Symposium at SMU in April 2024. Supported by the Dedman College Interdisciplinary Institute, the full-day event featured nationally recognized speakers and attracted attendees from across North Texas. This year’s Symposium focused on the theme of community building and resilience.
Xi Chen
- On March 20, 2024, she delivered a public lecture on China after the pandemic at TCU. The event was organized by the TCU Addran Liberal Arts College’s Asian Studies Program. The lecture was well attended and I am humbled by the generous compliments and feedback by TCU colleagues and students.
Danielle Lemi
- Was quoted in “‘Jamaica to the world’ A small town on a small island celebrates Kamala Harris’ meteoric rise” in CNN in August.
- Published “Kamala Harris is Black and Indian. Both. Let’s move on.” in The Emancipator in August.
- Published “Skin tone and Moderating Effect of Partisanship on Assessments of Elected Officials of Color” in Political Behavior with Christopher Stout, Katarina Bosworth, Ivy Chase and Jazzmyn Kiefer in March
- Presented “From Descriptive Representatives to Identity Representatives” at the Kirwan Institute at Ohio State University in January.
Thomas Osang co-authored and published “High-Tech Exports and Governance Institutions” in 2024.
Edward Rincon recently published a blog post on mass deportations.
