The Director of the Center’s Sun and Star Program, Dr. Hiroki Takeuchi, alongside Hamilton Scholar Natalya Talih, provided an article reviewing the content of Dr. Mireya Solis’ latest book called Japan’s Quiet Leadership: Reshaping the Indo-Pacific.
In their review, they comment on how the book explains Japan’s role in today’s globalized world in terms of supply chains, the country’s domestic and economic reforms during the latest decades, Japan’s sluggish economic growth compared to that of the 80s and also includes a political landscape of the country.
