Bipartisanship in a Polarized Age: When Democrats and Republicans Cooperate on U.S. Foreign Policy

The Tower Center hosted a virtual presentation from Dr. Jordan Tama of American University on April 20. Despite the current polarization that exists within American politics, Dr. Tama argues that there is still some bipartisan cooperation on foreign policy issues. He contends that it is critical to have bipartisan cooperation on such issues, otherwise, it will lead to erosion in the international consensus of the United States’ ability to lead in important global events.
