Former ‘Border Czar’ Gives Real Facts About Immigration from Mexico

Alan Bersin, former Border Czar and Assistant Secretary from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security shares his perspectives on why a border wall would not address the real challenges confronting the U.S. border enforcement system. He also speaks about how the experience gained through operations in El Paso, Texas and San Diego, California, were key in order to begin border management cooperation with Mexico, which was nonexistent before.
