Tutoring Volunteer Opportunity- Mustangs for Hope

Mustangs for Hope was founded by SMU grad Avery Mercurio in 2020. It’s a student-run club that provides free, virtual, one-on-one tutoring to K-12 students in the DFW area. Tutors are matched to students based on a variety of preferences. When you apply, you’ll fill out what time(s) during the week you are available along with the ages and subjects you’re comfortable tutoring. Being a part of Mustangs for Hope is an easy and fun way to get service hours and give back to the Dallas community!

We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to expand our program to serve more K-12 students in the Dallas area. That being said, we are in need of more student tutors to join our club! We require only one hour a week on zoom. Tutors are matched with the same student the entire semester, and we do not tutor on holidays. We are specifically looking for tutors to fill some Monday and Tuesday afternoon spots. These sessions would start in October.
