Inspire Girls To Take On The World’s Greatest Challenges! Girlstart is seeking MULTIPLE college-age STEM CREW (Creative, Resourceful, Empowered Women) leaders to teach in our after-school programs in the Mansfield & Grand Prairie area. Girlstart’s mission is to increase girls’ interest and engagement in STEM through innovative, nationally recognized informal STEM education programs. We accomplish this by developing innovative models and processes for teaching STEM and delivering STEM and STEM integrated education programs. Girlstart’s after school program provides 4th & 5th grade girls with a fun, free STEM enrichment program that builds confidence and encourages them to pursue paths to higher education and discover greater career opportunities. Our programs meet once a week for an hour immediately after the school day. This is a great opportunity to work directly with elementary school girls on hands-on science, engineering, technology, and math activities. Improve your classroom management skills, teaching style, leadership abilities and gain curriculum writing experience. Join Girlstart’s efforts to educate and empower girls!
