- Teaching Load: Chemistry or Physics (or both), Monday -Thursday afternoons
- Requirements: BS or MS in related field. Prior teaching experience a plus.
Brief Description of the School
- Foundation: Mesorah High School prepares girls to attend the colleges and seminaries of
their choice by challenging their minds with an excellent academic program, molding their characters through the values of a Jewish education, and offering them guidance with both understanding and discipline. Mesorah, founded in 2000, is located at 12712 Park Central Dr., Ste. B190, in Dallas, Texas. Mesorah occupies approximately 3,500 square feet in a newly renovated facility. The school is accredited by SACS.
- Faculty: Teachers provide instruction to students in 9th-12th grades. There are 18 faculty members. Student to faculty ratio is close to 3:1.
- Student Body: There are currently 55 girls in Grades 9-12.
- Curriculum: Mesorah’s dual-curricular focus provides excellent Judaic and college-
preparatory programs. The comprehensive college-preparatory program grounds each student in all major disciplines: mathematics, the sciences, history and language arts as well as economics, computer science, drama, studio art, and physical education. The intensive Judaic program enlightens each student in select subject areas.
- Statistics: SAT scores for all students have averaged above 1250; 85% of students taking AP courses have scored 3 or above.

The Dallas Chinese Community Center is planning to offer various ESL courses to help the low-income Chinese immigrants in January. Please see the courses including ESL (link below) which will be offered.
The commitment is for 6 weeks per session and 12 weeks per course. We need a Beginning ESL teacher for Tues, Wed, and Thurs from 3-4 p.m. for restaurant workers; we also need an Advanced ESL and Business English teachers for people who have some English background. The schedule for Business and Advanced English at this point, is still flexible and we can twig our schedule based on the teacher schedule. We do pay the going market rate. We are hoping to complete our hiring by the end of next week.

Mom located in Plano/Richardson area looking for a student who needs hours to work with a boy going into 4th grade over the summer so he does not lose progress.
Will have to work out timing, unless willing to do a background screening at the camp and can work on location at camp he is attending.

I’m looking for a patient and positive person who would be available this summer (and beyond) to meet with my incoming 9th grade daughter, helping her with summer work (and homework during the school year if schedule permits). The areas of tutoring would include guiding her in the summer reading assignment and book report writing, brush up on language arts concepts from 8th grade, and math, specifically fundamentals of Algebra 1. Our daughter is a student at the Winston School – a school for learning different kids. We live in UP, close to Hillcrest/Nortwest Highway area.
