Seeking Stem Scouts Leaders at Arthur Kramer Elementary School

Arthur Kramer Elementary School is excited to bring STEM Scouts, a co-ed program for grades 3-5 for the 2017-2018 school year. “Elementary Stem Scouts will explore and get creative doing hands on activities in weekly lab sessions. They try new things as they work with others, lead teams, communicate results and work with people in STEM careers. STEM Scout learning modules are designed and vetted by STEM educators and professionals to be fun and age appropriate. Hands on activities help the students learn to earn participation awards behind the experiment. Elementary STEM Scouts have the opportunity to earn participation awards for their weekly activities.”
For more information on STEM Scouts, please check out https://stemscouts.org/

We already have the students signed up, but now need three dedicated STEM Scout Leaders to facilitate the program. STEM Scouts will begin Monday, September 25 and go through the end of May. They will meet on Mondays and it will run after school, 3:30-5 pm.

The weekly lesson plans are already prepared, so orientation and training will be providedprior to starting.
We would love to have the volunteer STEM Scout Leaders for the entire school year, but are willing if need be to look at semester commitments as well. This is a great resume builder and a great service project.
Your help will be greatly appreciated by all at Arthur Kramer Elementary.
