Bringing music to the masses: Sam Park ’18
SMU senior Sam Park bridges the gap with music
Sam Park knows how to attract an audience to free chamber music concerts – first play Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir, ” then, when people linger, slide into one of Beethoven’s greatest hits. The SMU music education major and french horn player leads Bridge the Gap Chamber Players, a group of musicians from SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts. Sam graduated in May 2018, and he’ll continue to share his love of music as a band student teacher in the Plano Independent School District.
