We are nearing the first anniversary of the launch of STABLE at SMU. Since the launch, we have continued to enhance the current functionality while implementing other new processes. This summer, we will introduce the warehouse management and purchasing processes and tools for technology purchases. We will also reveal the integration with our computer inventory to allow employees to view their assigned computers within STABLE and view eligibility dates for replacement. In addition, the laptop checkout process will be transitioned to STABLE, and we will implement a solution to allow enhanced reporting via Power BI and Tableau. Finally, we will roll out a new module for connecting Outlook room calendars within STABLE and subsequently complete the integration of additional rooms to the reservation process.
During June, we will spend a few days reviewing the current implementation with each of the functional owners. We will check what is working well and identify processes or functionality that should be developed or modified over the next year. Those items will then be prioritized and implemented over the next several months. We continue to invest in the development of STABLE and improve the services supported by the system.
