Aneesha Kudtarkar ’12

Aneesha Kudtarkar has been selected a 2015 Directing Fellow by The Drama League Directors Project. As a Hangar Directing Fellow, she will lead a resident acting company in programming, directing and producing the second stage season at the Hangar Theater in Ithaca, New York. She earned a bachelor’s degree in theatre at SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts, where she developed her one woman show, Sari I'm Not Sari. In recent years she has directed several plays, including Living Out, Animals Out of Paper and Ninety (SMU), Sex by Mae West (The New School), and Gruesome Playground Injuries (Studio @ 620). She also has assisted on a number of productions, including All My Sons and By the Way Meet Vera Stark (The Juilliard School), and And I And Silence (Signature Theatre Company).
