Ryan Haggerty ’12

Ryan Haggerty has been named to the board of trustees of The Heritage Foundation, headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Haggerty is the managing member of Clear Fork Royalty, an oil and gas royalty fund he founded with his father-in-law and brother-in-law in 2011. The startup owns assets in 24 states with interests in over 10,000 wells. He also was recently named investment manager for the Estate of Bert Fields, Jr. The estate’s business units include banking, oil and gas, ranching and real estate.

Active in Fort Worth civic affairs, he was elected president of the Young Leaders Council in 2010 and is a member of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate, which raises money for 4H and FFA youth throughout Texas and is the largest financial contributor to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Haggerty serves as treasurer of the board of directors of the 12.48 Foundation, which raises money to support at-risk youth in the Como neighborhood of Fort Worth, and is immediate past-chairman of the board of managers for the Downtown Fort Worth YMCA

The Heritage Foundation is a conservative public policy research institute, with more than a half-million individual, foundation and corporate donors.
