SMU Alumna Kyle Stevens ’80, Women’s Golf Star And Former Head Coach, Inducted Into SWC Hall of Fame

Kyle O’Brien Stevens ’80, former All-American SMU women’s golf player, claimed medalist honors and led SMU to the team title at the 1979 AIAW National Championships. She toured on the professional circuit for five years before returning to the University as head coach of the team from 1986 to 1992. Named to the SMU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009, Stevens was inducted into the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame on October 5.
