Knit One, Win One: SMU Alumna Kathryn Arata’s Good Works Bring Good Luck To The Mustangs

SMU alumna and dedicated Mustangs fan Kathryn Arata ’87, ’91 began knitting prayer shawls for a ministry at her church during SMU basketball games. She did it to keep from biting her nails; now she does it for the good of the team. As she tells The Dallas Morning News, since she’s been knitting, the Mustangs have been winning.
