May was a very busy month at CUL Digital Collections.
In May 2011, we uploaded 20 items into our Flickr: The Commons account, including 2 related to Cinco de Mayo, 4 related to VE Day, 6 on the Mexican Revolution, and 8 from the Lawrence T. Jones photography collection.

We added 809 items into our CONTENTdm collections in May. SMU now has 12,184 published photographs, manuscripts, imprints, and works of art.
In May, we added:
– 174 items in the Mexico: Photographs, Manuscripts, and Imprints collection, including the 153-page Album Artistico by Bernardo Olivares Iriarte.
– 54 Texas currency notes in John N. Rowe III Collection of Texas Currency
– DeForrest Judd’s Big Bend, Hill Country, Caddo Lake Sketchbook (124 pages) in Texas Artists: Paintings, Sculpture, and Works on Paper
– 277 items in the Lawrence T. Jones III Texas Photographs
– 25 reproduction orders in the Texas: Photographs, Manuscripts, and Imprints collection
– 53 items, including 47 reproduction orders, in the Railroads: Photographs, Manuscripts, and Imprints collection.
– 39 items in the Robert Yarnall Richie Photographs collection.
– 60 .pdf files in the Cantonment Burgwin Postings collection.
