Professor Louis Jacobs of the Huffington Department of Earth Sciences at SMU and other colleagues published a CT study of the endocranial anatomy of Pawpawsaurus, an armored dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of North Texas. This research was recently featured in the Dallas Morning News.

A new pterosaur species, Cimoliopterus dunni, has been added to the online database of Shuler Museum vertebrate type specimens.
