Alaina Brooks

Alaina K. Brooks is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Administrative Officer, and Secretary for EnLink Midstream. Brooks plays an important leadership role in the creation and successful execution of EnLink’s strategic plan, while also leading several departments across EnLink, including legal, regulatory, human resources, public and industry affairs, and contract administration. She also serves as the executive sponsor of EnLink’s sustainability strategy. She has overseen litigation, commercial contracts, M&A, regulatory issues, and other legal matters while working alongside EnLink’s leadership team in the execution of EnLink’s strategic plan and all major company transactions. Before joining the company in 2008, Brooks practiced law at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Baker Botts LLP, where she counseled clients on matters of complex commercial litigation, risk management and taxation. She is a CPA and holds B.S. and M.Sc degrees from Oklahoma State University and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law.

John Lawrence as a partner at the Dallas office of Baker Botts. John represents public and private companies and their officers and directors in complex civil trials and government investigations across the country. His practice focuses in the areas of securities, fiduciary duty, shareholder action, fraud, trade secret, and other high stakes commercial litigation. He also regularly advises clients on these issues and related corporate governance concerns outside of litigation, in connection with their regular conduct and strategic transactions. He is also a leader in the Dallas community, serving on a number of local arts and philanthropic boards. He is the former President of the Advisory Board of the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and continues to serve on its Executive Committee. He is a member of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’s Tocqueville Society. John holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Chequan Lewis is Chief Equity Officer at Pizza Hut. Previously, Mr. Lewis led Pizza Hut Express and was responsible for the brand’s legal efforts in franchise transactions and enforcement. He was also a litigator at Baker Botts. Before becoming an attorney, he worked in business management with a leading industrial supply company. Mr. Lewis is committed to civic engagement, having worked with the Dallas Office to analyze economic revitalization efforts in southern Dallas. He serves on the Dallas Zoo’s Board of Directors and recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s Minority Business Leader Award and is a Presidential Leadership Scholar. He also contributes to the Dallas Morning News focusing on sociopolitical issues in Dallas. Mr. Lewis earned his B.A. from Howard University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Jessica Pulliam is partner at Baker Botts and Chair of the Trial Department in Dallas and Co-Chair of the Firmwide Securities and Shareholder Litigation Group. Jessica defends high-stakes lawsuits against public companies and their officers and directors, private enterprises and professional firms. Jessica has tried cases in Delaware and Texas, regularly appears before regulatory agencies including the SEC and PCAOB and conducts internal investigations. Her litigation experience ranges from financial fraud and accounting restatements matters to suits involving wrongful death, whistleblowers and corporate crisis. She excels at telling a client’s story and helping witnesses -everyone from a former Vice President of the United States and multiple CEOs to hard-hat wearing field workers -during testimony.
