Graduate Student receives Grant

Deanna Denman was recently awarded a Research Supplement to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research from the National Cancer Institute. The two-year award will support Deanna’s work as a graduate research assistant on a project, “Developing a self-persuasion intervention promoting adolescent HPV vaccination”, under the supervision of Drs. Austin Baldwin (SMU, Department of Psychology) and Jasmin Tiro (UT Southwestern, Department of Clinical Sciences). The award will also provide Deanna with funds to travel to multiple research conferences during the award period. Congratulations, Deanna!
