Perkins student Wallace Wyatt, III recently enjoyed a high point in his work with the nonprofit After-School All-Stars (ASAS) North Texas. After the school that housed the program was demolished in the recent tornados, Executive Director Marissa Castro Mikoy called on Wyatt to help the organization present its story at the Dallas Influencers in Sports and Entertainment (DISE) Fast Pitch 2019 competition. Robert Hunt on Jesus’ Birthdate As part of his ongoing Verify series, WFAA-TV reporter David Schechter explored the question, “Was Jesus born on Dec. 25?” For help, he turned to Perkins faculty member Robert Hunt.  Schechter noted lingering speculation that Jesus' birth date was arranged to coincide with a pagan Roman holiday.
