Description
The Faith and Learning Scholars program helps students grow in faith and give deeper meaning to their academic pursuits. They will work under the guidance and mentorship of the Chaplain and faculty of faith to connect their academic work with their moral convictions, integrating the life of the mind with the life of the spirit. Students from different areas of study and religious traditions will come together in this program to form a spiritual and intellectual community, exploring together the deeper moral purpose underlying their life and work at SMU.
“The Faith and Learning Scholars program is an incredibly exciting new initiative to help bright, motivated students grow in their faith and imbue their academic work with a sense of moral and spiritual purpose” — Matthew Wilson
