$2,000

Obtain additional equipment needed to continue our WFAA news film digitization project.

Description

The WFAA digitization project at SMU’s G. William Jones Film & Video Collection has been a success! Over the last year, 600 hours of news footage has been repaired and digitized, and with the Collection’s acquisition of an HD telecine last October, the project has reached an audience we never dreamed possible.

As a result of our success, the Collection needs your help. Your donation will keep this project going, and further research opportunities for students on campus and the academic world at large.

  • $1,200 will provide local file storage for our work files
  • $500 will provide a new capture card
  • $300 will provide new 16mm leader

Special Thank-You Reward Levels
