Brent Turman – From Communications to Financial Consulting

On this episode CCPA student Patrick Mason interviews film alum and entertainment lawyer Brent Turman (B.A. ’07). Turman has had varied career in the entertainment industry that started with ESPN and college football and eventually lead to his training as an entertainment lawyer. He has worked on high-profile cases, included a multi-million dollar dispute involving the 50 Shades of Grey franchise. Susan Miller – Communications and National Defense

On this episode CCPA student Chase Schoellhorn interviews Susan Miller (B.A. ’96, History with a minor in Journalism), an SMU alum who got her start working at Dallas’ own WFAA before moving on to work with national networks ABC, CNN and Fox News. Miller’s career has taken her to 20/20 where she worked with the famous Barbara Walters, being press secretary for the CIA, heading up communications for Amazon Web Services, and, most recently, starting her own communications firm.
