About Owen Lynch

Associate Professor and Director of Honors Program and SMU-in-London Internships, Altshuler Distinguished Teaching Professor of Corporate Communication and Public Affairs (On research leave, 2019-20)

Owen Hanley Lynch is an associate professor in the Meadows School of the Arts at SMU. He is the director of the Organizational Communications track within the Division of Corporate Communication and Public Affairs (CCPA). He also works as the director of the CCPA honors program and the SMU-in-London Communication internship program. Outside of CCPA, he holds the positions of senior research fellow and director of community research and engagement for the Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity within the Lyle School of Engineering at SMU. Lynch is active in Dallas in regard to healthy, fresh food access and food justice issues.
