JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to: Account Director, The Loomis Agency
Schedule and compensation: Thirty hours per week for nine weeks (Tuesday, June 3 through Thursday, July 31, 2025.) $20 per hour (paid in four equal installments throughout the summer via SMU Payroll.)
Format: Hybrid; In-person at LOOMIS offices (17120 Dallas Parkway, Suite 200, Dallas, Texas, 75248) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; Mondays are remote/work from home days.
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (30 hours per week, including a lunch break). This internship is designed to give you hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency setting. Be engaged, take initiative, and make the most of your time at LOOMIS!
Preferred majors: Majors in Advertising, Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, Film and Media Arts, and/or Journalism are preferred candidates.

Position overview: This intern will work closely with the strategy team to conduct research, analyze market trends, and contribute to strategic frameworks for innovative campaigns.
Key responsibilities: This role may include the following responsibilities:
- Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
- Performing market analysis and research on competition
- Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
- Assisting in marketing and advertising promotional activities for the company and client (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Taking part in formal and informal training opportunities
- Participating in marketing brainstorming sessions
- Working with your team on a practice project for a client, including a final presentation
- Experiencing some real client interaction
- Learning about the creative process hands-on
- Helping create content for company social channels (TikTok & Instagram)
- Supporting the creative team on client projects
- Lunching with work friends on Free Taco Tuesday

- Previous internship or project experience in branding, marketing, or communication.
