SMU now requires authorization for campus partners who wish to send emails impersonating an smu.edu domain. This requirement helps us prevent malicious senders from spoofing SMU addresses while attempting to send phishing emails or malware to our campus or outside entities.

The Division of Student Affairs selected the CampusGroups solution to replace the aging Connect.SMU with a more robust and mobile-friendly tool. Starting today, SMU360 offers the entire SMU community a place to engage with organizations and departments, view events happening across campus, chat with others, and more! 
For the past few years, students and faculty have been able to access different licensed applications in a hosted environment using their web browsers. These have been installed on either Apporto or Apps.SMU. In order to simplify the process for students, we have moved several applications over to Apporto rather than having them in different environments.
