Academic Technologies Offers New Training This Fall

OIT’s Academic Technology Services offers several training opportunities for SMU faculty throughout the year. This fall, they will be offering several sessions on using Canvas LMS, an introduction to Microsoft Teams, helpful tips on using academic tools, and even an open lab to get all of your questions answered. Except for those offered through Zoom, no registration is required and walk-ins welcome.

Learn a new skill over Spring Break with LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn LearningWith Spring Break less than a week away, we would like to remind you that it is a great time to learn a new skill. Many of you will be traveling or taking a break, and you can use the time getting there along with the LinkedIn Learning app to make your time away from campus more productive to be more fruitful when you return. By using the LinkedIn Learning Mobile app, you can download courses to view on your mobile device for offline viewing in areas you don’t have a network or wifi connection, such as in a plane, in a car, or on the beach. We have compiled a few courses – from fun new skills to productivity tips – that might be worth your time while on Spring Break.
