As we inch ever closer to final exams, the task of entering final grades in my.SMU can be a tedious and time-consuming endeavor, especially for larger classes. Starting this term, however, a new grade import tool can help make things easier during this hectic time, allowing you to export your grades from Canvas and then upload them to my.SMU with far less manual data entry!

The Data and Applications Services team has been working feverishly to add several significant my.SMU enhancements this year. Here are a few you should know about.
During this week’s upcoming routine maintenance of my.SMU, new features and navigational aids will be implemented to provide a more pleasant experience when using the system. While we are still updating our documentation for you, here’s a summary of what to expect! 
my.SMU has received updates that will simplify your time reporting experience. In addition, bi-weekly benefit-eligible employees will now be able to report their time off directly within the system! You can also look forward to better mobile device functionality when reporting your timesheets and when using the web clock. 
With the ever-changing ways of the Internet, web browsers of course have to keep up. As browser security and feature changes evolve, so does how SMU systems and services behave in certain browsers. We have recently updated our my.SMU service page with some new tips on using the service with your browser of choice, and we’d like to summarize them here!
