Even though the New Outlook button displays on your ribbon, please keep it in off mode as it will not be able to configure Outlook Exchange.

This research overseen by Microsoft’s Human Factors Engineering group is well worth the read. Still, if you don’t have time to take a break and read it, the main takeaway is that breaks are essential to make the transitions between meetings less stressful for employees. IMAP to be discontinued for Student’s Office 365 on May 22, 2019.

EmailEarlier this year, we notified students that IMAP will be discontinued for use with Office 365. While SMU has supported IMAP for nearly 30 years, that support will end this summer for email accounts hosted in Office 365 (Exchange Online) to allow for improved email security.
