Zach is a Senior IT Training & Communications Consultant with OIT. Zach began his SMU career at the IT Help Desk in 2012 and joined the Training & Communications Team in 2015. He is a 2011 graduate from the University of North Texas and obtained a Master of Liberal Studies degree from SMU in 2018. He enjoys reading and collecting vintage and antique radio sets. He grew up in Valley View, Texas near Denton.
Docusign Email Address to Change This Week
To help prevent false positives from our email security system, OIT will be updating the email address used by Docusign to send messages to our SMU.edu domain on February 13, 2025, at 4 p.m. This will likely not affect you unless you use any routing rules in Outlook to route Docusign emails to other areas in your mailbox. Empowering Student Success: SMU’s New Graduation Tracking Dashboard
Collaboration is driving new innovations to support student success on the Hilltop. A recently developed dashboard is changing the way the University identifies and assists students who may be at risk of not graduating on time. The “Graduation Target Dashboard” brings a fresh approach to monitoring student progress, utilizing predictive analytics and centralized data to provide timely interventions. Windows 10 End of Life Set for October. Get Ready!
In my years here at SMU, I’ve kind of become the defacto obituary writer for all kinds of systems and services that have been retired. Thankfully, seeing off one service usually means welcoming something new! In this case, Windows 10 Enterprise and Education versions will be officially retired by Microsoft on October 14, 2025, wrapping up a ten-year service life.
