To help prevent false positives from our email security system, OIT will be updating the email address used by Docusign to send messages to our SMU.edu domain on February 13, 2025, at 4 p.m. This will likely not affect you unless you use any routing rules in Outlook to route Docusign emails to other areas in your mailbox.
Before this change, Docusign emails could come from one of four different email addresses from the @docusign.net domain, which could sometimes get flagged by our spam filters. After the change, Docusign emails will come from one address: esign@docusign.smu.edu. If you use routing rules in Outlook for your Docusign emails, make sure to change the address accordingly.
If you do not use routing rules for Docusign, no action should be needed on your part. If you do have any questions, just let us know, and we will be happy to help!
