Happy New Year!
As the campus returns for the new year, we want to remind you that NetID is now required to sign in to SMU services. Using your eight-digit SMU ID number will not be accepted for authentication.
You will be prompted to re-authenticate to SMU services, such as my.SMU and Canvas, using your NetID. This will include updating your mobile devices to reconnect to campus Wi-Fi and email. For those with Teams-enabled phones, you will also need to sign in again using the device login code and/or Duo.
