Asana to End Internet Explorer Support April 1

Asana logoIt’s no April fools joke! Asana, the project/task management and collaboration platform, recently sent notification to customers announcing that the collaborative Asana web app will no longer be accessible using Internet Explorer after April 1, 2020.

Since Internet Explorer is no longer actively developed by Microsoft, it’s best to move to a newer, actively updated browser not only to be more secure but also to enjoy newer convenience features. Here at SMU, Firefox and Chrome are installed on University-owned computers by default, and Microsoft Edge has been included in Windows 10 since it’s introduction. If you use Asana with the old Internet Explorer, be sure to switch to one of these browsers by April 1, 2020.

As always, let the IT Help Desk know if you have any issues with or questions about your web browsers or the Asana service at 214-768-4357 or help@smu.edu!
