This summer has certainly been a busy one when it comes to freshening up the campus. Many buildings are receiving intense renovations, and classroom technology improvements are of course part of the process. Over the past few months, some classrooms have received special new equipment, including long-lasting laser projectors, upgraded lectern PCs with quick solid-state storage, and even high-definition lecture recording systems.
Now, in many Collins Executive Education Center classrooms along with the Hillcrest courtroom in the Underwood Law Library, faculty and other presenters can simply plug in a USB storage device and press record on the room control panel to record their presentations. OIT has also implemented software that allows technicians to remotely control classroom equipment and diagnose issues before they become a problem. All of these great new features are now available to help you make the most out of class time.
