The campus fiber feed used to transmit cable TV service to the main campus is currently routed across the Ford Center construction site. Due to the construction, SMU has installed new fiber optics to reroute the campus TV service. Charter will switch over to the new fiber on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, starting at 7 a.m. The work is expected to be completed by 11 a.m. During this time the campus TV service will be unavailable.
