By the time you are reading this, many of you on campus have received your 2019 Cyber Security Awareness Calendar. In an effort to promote and remind the SMU community of their role in cybersecurity, the OIT Security Team has created an educational and fun calendar to hang proudly at your desk.
Each month covers a specific cybersecurity term or topic with helpful insights. For example, did you know that one in three Americans is affected by hacker attacks each year? That is one for every 39 seconds.
The calendar was sent to those on campus that have not opted out of campus mailings. If you have not received a calendar, please contact the IT Help Desk at help@smu.edu, and they will arrange for one to be delivered to you. Only a few extras remain, so don’t wait.
