Appspace Digital Signage Update: September 2018

Appspace logoWe would like to take a moment and update you on our Appspace Digital Signage Upgrade Project.

In July, we completed the server upgrade and hosted a webinar on What’s new in Appspace 6. If you missed the webinar, a recording is available by clicking the link below.

In the webinar, we promoted the new Cards feature in Appspace. Unfortunately, it was not noted in the vendor’s documentation that the Card feature does not work on the DirectX version of the Appspace software that was deployed on a majority of our Player PCs. To rectify this issue, we would need to install the new Appspace Universal Windows Player (UWP) software on your Player PC – which also requires Windows 10. As part of a standard change, we began upgrading the Player PCs to Windows 10 in August* and have begun deploying the new Appspace UWP software this month so everyone can take advantage of Cards in Appspace 6.

If you would like to learn more about using Cards and other features of Appspace 6, we will be hosting a virtual Appspace 6 lunch-and-learn starting at Noon on October 11, 2018. You can register by clicking the link below.
