SMU GO Is excited to announce a partnership to bring the Online MS In Data Science (MSDS) to India. While online education is, by definition, available anywhere, international enrollment in online degree programs remains low for a variety of reasons. SMU GO is bringing the MSDS degree to the Indian market through our international recruitment partner, SetConnect. SetConnect will leverage relationships with local institutions in India to promote the degree and will attract a new cohort of students to a specialized offering that caters to the needs of students located in India.
SMU GO will work with our long time delivery partner, 2U, to ensure that potential students recruited by SetConnect meet all academic standards for admission to this well-established Masters program beginning this fall, and assist them to complete the rigorous degree requirements to finish well. The first Indian cohort of the MSDS will graduate with a SMU degree in 2 years without needing to travel to the US, and there is potential for more cohorts of international students and other degree programs to follow. We look forward to expanding SMU’s global footprint and growing the MSDS program internationally.
