SMU’s Office of Student Transitions and Orientation celebrates the start of the 2015 AARO season with its annual Ice Cream Social. This year’s event is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 15 in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center Ballroom.
Ice cream will be served until 4:30 p.m. or until supplies are exhausted. The entire University community is invited to enjoy a free sundae (and priceless community bonding) as SMU prepares to welcome new and transfer students through its Academic Advising, Registration and Orientation programs.
Faculty and staff members can also meet the 2015 student AARO leaders and watch the Mustang Corral hype presentation at 2 p.m. in the Hughes-Trigg Ballroom.
AARO sessions for 2015 begin Wednesday, June 17 and continue through Monday, Aug. 17. Please welcome new students and their parents to campus.

At 2:30 p.m. Aug. 22, SMU faculty, staff members and incoming first-year students will take part in the 2010 Common Reading discussion.
