Homecoming 2007 brings “Once Upon a Hilltop” to SMU

homecoming-2007-200.jpgSMU celebrates 81 years of Homecoming in fairytale fashion with “Once Upon a Hilltop.” The annual celebration is organized by the SMU Student Foundation and the SMU Office of Alumni Relations.

“We feel this theme encompasses the amazing journey SMU students and alumni have taken to make a positive impact on the world at home, wherever it may be,” wrote student Chair Sam Douglas.

Events begin Nov. 3 with Community Service Day and continue through Nov. 11 with the traditional Homecoming Sunday service in Perkins Chapel. In between are luncheons, open houses, tailgate parties, class reunions, the 2007 Distinguished Alumni Awards and the SMU-Rice game in Ford Stadium.
