Steam Shutdown Required in Several North Loop Buildings

Notice

• Steam leak from buried pipe will be repaired and excavation is required
• Steam Shutdown will take place in the following buildings:
• Fondren Science Building  
• Dedman Life Science
• Dallas Hall
• Carr Collins Hall
• Florence Hall 
• Underwood Law Library
• Storey Hall 
• Fondren Library Center
• Heroy Hall 
• Hyer Hall
• Perkins Administration Building
• Mcfarlin Auditorium
• Annette Caldwell Simmons Hall
• Harold Clark Simmons Hall
  
• This will only affect hot water to buildings
• Water will be available for toilets, hand washing, etc.

SCHEDULE

• Thursday Evening, October 10^th– Friday Morning, October 11^th :  Excavation and pipe preparation
• Friday Afternoon, October 11^th– Tuesday Late Evening, October 15^th :  Steam Shutdown
• Wednesday Morning, October 16^th : Steam back online and fully operational
