Learn what the Texas Education Agency is doing to implement STEM education throughout the state. TEA provides various resources including a STEM framework, toolkit, and a newsletter. You can also read about T-STEM Academies which provide an innovative STEM curriculum for students.
The U.S. Department of Education has a number of initiatives that support STEM education. Grant opportunities are available for organizations, a number of Department Offices support STEM, and six STEM priorities have been set for the U.S. Secretary of Education.
The National Science Foundation provides Science and Engineering Indicators to provide data “…intended to contribute to an understanding of the current environment and to inform the development of future policies.” You can explore various reports, state indicators, or read up on specific topics to see the progress that has been made in STEM education and the workforce.
