We are excited to share the latest updates on our efforts to implement the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform across campus. This powerful tool will help streamline communications and enhance how we engage with our internal and external audiences.
Internal Communications Assessment
OIT has begun a thorough assessment of how Marketing Cloud can improve internal communications in the next phase of the project. This review focuses on how schools and units currently use email to engage students, faculty, and staff. The results will help guide decisions on scaling the platform and determining licensing needs.
Formation of Internal Communications Working Group
To help with this effort, a working group of internal communications leads from across campus will be formed. Led by DEA’s Marketing and Communications, this team will gather insights to determine the best way to set up the platform to meet the needs of schools and units reaching internal audiences.
Survey Results
We recently conducted a user survey to gather feedback on the current use of the platform. The results showed that we will need to double the number of seats and contacts as we grow its use across the Hilltop.
