Our implementation of the new email marketing platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is picking up speed. Currently in phase two, we are introducing additional schools and units to the platform, with new users actively engaging in online training modules and video tutorials developed by Marketing Cloud and the Office of Information Technology.
On the data front, we have established master data extensions and are in the process of developing and testing audience lists for the schools and units joining the project. Once data validation is complete and users are proficient with the platform, schools and units can begin using the platform to engage their audiences. Our aim is to have most, if not all, schools using Marketing Cloud with their alumni and donor communities by summer’s end.
Looking ahead, phase three will commence in the fall and will determine how Marketing Cloud will be deployed for internal communications. More details about this phase will be shared later this summer.
We have also formed a Center of Excellence comprising subject matter experts well-versed in using the platform. This dedicated team is instrumental in developing tailored training materials, optimizing data, troubleshooting issues and guiding new users through onboarding. We extend our gratitude to these individuals for their invaluable contributions and dedication to the success of this new tool.
