RA opportunities at the Brookings Institution!

The Economic Studies Program at the Brookings Institution is currently recruiting for two exciting Research Assistant positions, starting in summer 2024. These are two year appointments, preferably beginning between June 1 and August 1, 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates!

FTC Bureau of Economics Summer Intern

The Bureau of Economics of the Federal Trade Commission is hiring interns for Summer 2024. They are looking for advanced undergraduate economics students who are interested in exploring graduate school (such as those considering a pre-doc for the fall of 2025) or economic policy jobs after graduation. Ideal candidates include students with substantive experience analyzing data in Stata, R, or Python, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Research Assistant – Centre for Economic Performance

The Centre for Economic Performance is hiring a research assistant. The position offers an opportunity to work on projects for the ERC funded Labor Policies for Inclusive Growth in the Centre for Economic Performance, and associated core Centre projects. The topics of research will be the impact of technology, immigration and imperfect competition on the labor market.

An undergraduate degree in Economics or other quantitative discipline to be completed by post start date is essential, as is experience of data work requiring great accuracy and attention to detail.
