The University of Notre Dame’s Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) is hiring pre-doctoral research associates to support their impactful work in reducing poverty. This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about economics and social impact.

Position Details:

  • Role: Pre-doctoral Research Associate
  • Start Date: Summer 2025
  • Location: Notre Dame, IN
  • Commitment: 1-year appointment with the possibility of a second term
  • Responsibilities: Project management, data analysis, research support, and dissemination of results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related field
  • Experience with statistical programming (STATA, R, SAS)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Interest in a two-year commitment

Explore Civilian Careers in Army Intelligence with Dr. Aaron Linderman

The Hegi Family Career Development Center and the Center for Presidential History are thrilled to host Dr. Aaron Linderman for a special event on Civilian Careers in Army Intelligence.

This speaker event and lunch will take place on September 25 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Hegi office.

Dr. Linderman serves at the U.S. Army’s National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he leads a team of analysts. He will share insights from his career, discuss opportunities in government and military intelligence, and provide valuable advice for SMU undergraduate and graduate students interested in this field.
