Dr. Ruth Simmons will join us for a conversation moderated by local writer Charlise Lyles to discuss Dr. Simmons’s critically acclaimed memoir, Up Home: One Girl’s Journey (Random House, 2023), which offers a powerful reflection on Dr. Simmons’s extraordinary life and career.
