Bryson DeChambeau hasn’t played Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, before but that doesn’t mean the 25-year-old golfer isn’t prepared for The Northern Trust.

DeChambeau hadn’t played Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey, but that didn’t prevent him from winning the first event that comprises the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup playoffs in 2018.

The Northern Trust will be held from August 7-11, 2019, as DeChambeau looks to retain his crown and take a stronghold on the FedEx Cup standings.

“I’ve seen it on TV with the (2017) Presidents Cup,” DeChambeau said. “I never saw Ridgewood before and I went in and won there. It’s just about what I can do at that moment in time; if I’m able to execute and repeat my motion better than everyone else. If I can do that, hopefully it’s game over.

“It takes you playing really well, executing well, having the right strategy and getting a little lucky. That’s the game.” READ MORE
