Neighborhood Goods, which said in February that it’s taking the big leap of opening its first store in New York, has found a space in the city’s Meatpacking District.
The Dallas-based startup, which is attempting to come up with a new type of department store, opened its first location in Plano’s Legacy West in November.
Later this year, Neighborhood Goods will open a 4,500-square-foot store in Chelsea Market, a food hall that boasts more than 5 million visitors a year who come to eat, drink at shop. The market is on the ground floor of the 1.2 million-square-foot office building that also houses Major League Baseball and the Food Network. READ MORE
